Marketing Coordinator


Currently have an opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator at GMCO Corporation. The candidate will be responsible for providing marketing coordination, delegation and design support.

In this role, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for continuously maintaining the company’s brand aesthetics, internally and externally. This includes reviewing, updating, prioritizing and maintaining the company’s visual representation in all aspects of design including typography, composition, and color.  The creative talents of the individual in this role will be applied to digital advertisements, marketing materials, sales documents, trade show materials and web graphics. In addition, the coordinator will be responsible for supporting the management team by performing market research and market analysis. The coordinator will be an innovative, out-of-the-box thinker who strives for design excellence and enjoys challenges. The coordinator will also seek to have a broader role in the business success by being involved in strategic marketing function.

  • Supervisory Experience 2-3 years

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing & Advertising

Essential Job Function

  • Conducting research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends and customer behavior and preparing reports by collecting, summarizing and analyzing data

  • Supporting the Vice President of Sales in establishing and evaluating a marketing strategy and plan by analyzing and assembling sales forecasts, updating calendars and organizing and planning promotional presentations

  • Communicating campaign deliverables, objectives and timeliness to their team while providing instructions for promotion or use

  • Planning and assisting in trade shows, conferences, events and meeting by identifying, coordinating and assembling requirements and developing assignments and schedules.

  • Monitoring and maintaining all sales support materials and ensuring all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.

  • Continually seeking and researching new sources of prospective customers while providing recommendations to marketing and sales leadership.

  • Develop and design digital collateral including brochures, sales documents, presentations, email and direct mail campaigns.

  • Assist in brand management and development.

  • Create and manage digital marketing campaigns.

  • Function as an active member of core creative team by proactively providing ideas and suggestions.

  • Assist in the creation of email promotions and marketing campaigns.

  • Manage aspects of social media marketing.

  • Maintain marketing banners and promos on website.

  • Assist sales personnel.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to fulfill job function or as assigned

  • Experience in conceptualizing, planning and executing both creative campaigns and stand-alone marketing collateral.

  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Acrobat.

  • Must possess time management and organizational skills.
